Yeah, me too. It's only taken a week and the beard is mostly back. I think I was meant to have facial hair :p

Gosh, Please don't be offended if it takes me more than two secs to recognise you!

It makes me think of what people can do nowadays to alter their appearance: facial hair, hair dye, contact lenses, piercings, tattoos, body modification...

Aah the joy this gives me.

Shorn.

I too have shaved my beard off due to a trimming mistake rather than heat. It's really funny as the bits of my face that were under the beard feel really cold in this NZ winter while the bits that weren't feel warm.

You look slightly odd without a beard. I'm looking forward to the warmer weather when Xasanath shaves off /his/ beard. It's so scratchy against my skin. :p

Well, I will be the one person to say I liked you with the beard. I will say you do look much younger without it. All men look younger without their beards. Just look at Rev. Piazza. You could have cut the beard short like I do which give you a younger look but still allows you to have some facial hair. I love having my short beard. I've been told this is the best I've ever looked. Maybe you could try that if you're still wanting some facial hair but not too much so you can survive the summer heat here in Texas.

Hi Stephen

Yes, you looking much better!!! You don't have to make yourself a oupa - grandpa before you 40yrs old.

I always wondering "Why does the young guys of the 21 century growing beards before they 50yrs old"??? Yes some looks very nice with it and some guys really looking very ugly with it!!!

I prefer a clean shaven man too. I can't stand when a man eats and the food etc... getting stuck to their beards, it looks so unclean and disguisting etc... I rather look away, try to ignore that person or tell them there stuff stuck to it so that they can get it off.

I gave up on your dad shaving his one off but when I do see it's getting too bushy and looks very untidy then I tell your dad to trim both. Your dad then shave it shorter but not all off. Yes then your dad looks much better with a short haired beard then a long untidy one!!!

If I could get my wish with your dad then I rather wants him to be without it. He looks much younger without it, he looks ten years older with it.

Can't wait to see you in person when you coming back to NZ without it!!!

DON'T GROW ONE AGAIN, YOU ARE NOT OLD!!!

Keep Well.

Regards

You look great, Stephen! And I just about fell off my chair laughing when I got to the reason to shave being 33 degree Celsius heat -- yes, Texas is HOT! And while I've never had to worry about a beard, anything that gets me cool in a Texas summer is something to be sought after. Enjoy the new you.
