So, for many reasons I quit my job at Cecil and started working for Beca.
It turns out that developers are the same, no matter where you go. They all have the same purile sense of humour and similar approach to things. This is strangely comforting.
On the right is my development team leader Dean Heard. He took an instant liking to my Pikachu hammer.
In this image he’s approaching an “unsupecting” Richard Adlard (another senior developer) with the hammer behind his back. Reminicient of Tom & Jerry, wouldn’t you think? I wonder which one is Tom 😉
This is Lara, she is a graduate intern from Christchurch. She can be hilarious at times and she sits next to me.
She doesn’t like it when people crack their joints, which is something of a problem since all my joints crack, almost constantly.
She’s giving me daggers in this photo, can’t imagine why :p
Cécile Southavoong is from New Caledonia and has a fantastic French accent. She is tester and something along the lines of tier 2 support for Beca applications.
She stretches her laptop to its full extent and balances it against some boxes. Surely OSH would have a few things to say about that.
When I started, David was the team leader for development. He has since become the architecture team leader. This will give him time to focus on getting us CMMI compliant.
One of the reasons I decided to take the job at Beca is because they are working on CMM / CMMI compliance up to level 3.
Oh, and I am sure you are all interested to see what my desk looks like. Lots of Pikachu:
